1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 - For this is the will of God, [even] your sanctification that ye should abstain from sexual immorality.

Sexual sins are one of the most deadly sins in our Christian walk. Satan our arch-enemy has wreck many homes, ministry and careers of believers through the sins of immorality. In fact, if we are not careful to look to our Heavenly Father and follow His teaching in this area, we live a life which makes us slaves to sin and fails to bring glory to our Lord. For this reason, believers need to guide themselves against the sins of immorality. We as an individual as well as a church need to declare upfront war against this enemy.

Here are the tips in overcoming sexual sins:

1.       Be sincere with yourself

we need to be sincere on that the enemy is taking advantage of us through sexual sins and for this reasons we need ask ourselves if we desire to be free. Because only when we desire and seek freedom that that we can seek to be free. That is why most ministers of the gospel still fall into sexual sins even after they have preach and writing books against it.
“Take heed, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin” – Hebrews 2:12-13 (MKJV)

2.     You are not alone.

You must understand that every believer is in this struggle. Pastors, bishops, Christians. Just every believers has a fight for sexual sins, it is either you are about to step in, you are in it or may be somehow you are containing it! Paul the apostle gave us a clip of this struggle in his life. ... ^{Rom 7v19} For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing.

But thanks be to God he found grace through our Lord Jesus.

3.     Be assured you can break-free

“Therefore if the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.” – John 8:36 (MKJV)

Having discovered that you are not alone. You need to have assurance in Christ that you are set free from sins Rom 6v  ⁵ For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. ⁶ For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with,^[a] that we should no longer be slaves to sin— ⁷ because anyone who has died has been set free from sin

4.     Confess and believe your righteousness in Christ.

You must be conscious of your stand in Christ Jesus. Always confess and believe your righteousness in Christ Jesus. For He has made Him who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” – 2 Corinthians 5:21 (MKJV). Do this repeatedly until the revelation of who Christ is will be made real to you.

5.     Break every contact with sexual sin

Forms of contact with sexual sin such as keeping bad friends, watching intimate movies or musical videos, visiting websites where unclad or half-unclad pictures are being displayed, reading sexually stimulating books and magazines, attending to sexual thought, must be done away.
“…we must get rid of everything that slows us down, especially sin that distracts us. We must run the race that lies ahead of us and never give up.” – Hebrews 12:1

6.    Fellowship with other believers.

We must associate with like-minded persons. Fellow believers help us to be strengthen in our faith. Share your struggle with a trusted believer who can help you in prayer. Heb 10v25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

7.    Meeting God through daily through bible and prayer

We should not neglect the place of the holy-spirit in our struggle against sin. Study the bible daily through related scriptures on victory over sexual sins. Some of these scripture can help:
1 Thessalonians 4:3, 1 Corinthians 7:2, 2 Timothy 2:22,
1 Corinthians 6:9-10

1 Peter 2:11 - Dearly beloved, I beseech [you] as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.

ESCAPING THE AGONY OF HELL

Revelation 20:11-15

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
¹² And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
¹³ And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
¹⁴ And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
¹⁵ And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was cast to suffer into lake of fire forever(Rev 20v15) .For this reason GOD send Jesus who suffered and died at Calvary! Friends the agony of hell is real! So real that you can't imagine going there. I wonder what you can gain in this world to loose you soul in hell. That soul you see in there heard about Jesus, in TV, radio, Facebook, ,morning-cry, many preachers came to tell him about Christ but he thought there is still time, he rejected Christ to embrace damnation for the pleasures of this world! One-day he left this world and saw himself before the throne of judgment without Christ, his name was neither found in the book of life, what a sorry pity! He cried and was sorry but no Jesus to deliver him, then he saw himself rolling towards a horrible place and the evil being: devil receiving him, oh he can't imagine it is real, yes hell-fire for forever! He waited to woke up and it will be all dream so as to give his life to Christ! But it is obvious that there is no second chance! He remember when he was in the world when someone posted a message about the agony of hell and wish he knew better then ,but now it is clear to him that it is not a fairy tale. Dear friend do you still wait to enter hell before you believe? Remember it is appointed unto man once to die after that comes judgment(Heb9v27). Escape for your life as there is no time! HELL-FIRE IS REAL!Dear friend ask God to forgive you and invite Jesus into your life! 

Make this confessing prayer

Dear Lord Jesus

I am sorry for my sins ( confess your sins)

Thank you for the Love you be-stone  on me through your death at Calvary

Come into my life as my Lord and personal Savior.

Today I confess you as the Son of God, my Lord and Savior.

I believe You died and resurrected.

Thank You Lord for I am save.

THE AGONY OF THE CROSS

ISAIAH 53:1-5

53 Who has believed our message
    and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
² He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
    and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
    nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
³ He was despised and rejected by mankind,
    a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
    he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.

^{4 Surely he took up our pain
    and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
    stricken by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
    he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
    and by his wounds we are healed.}

 

There was a woman who had a son called Dan. Though she was a widow, she spent all she had in ensuring that Dan got the best in life. Indeed she love her son so much that nothing else is treasured than Dan, not even her own life!
Many years pass that Dan forgot his mother and all her love and admonition. He decided to follow the way that seemeth gud to man, forgeting the valley where he comes from, what a tragedy!
Many days after he was involve in a scam and was been trace to his house by detectives, but unfortunately the mother was arrested because Dan was nowhere to be found. The mother was detain and tortured to tell the whereabout of the son. Many days after, unable to bear the pains suffering and humiliation, the mother died with a heart longing for her 'beloved' son. But before she died, she prayed a prayer" oh Lord God! Have mercy on my son, forgive him even as I have forgiving him" Jesus has paid the price of our sins by His death at the cross of calvary."HE WAS DESPISED AND REJECTED BY MEN A MAN OF SORROWS AND ACQUAINTED WITH GRIEF... SURELY HE HAS BORNE OUR GRIEFS AND CARRIED OUR SORROW... HE WAS WOUNDED FOR OUR TRANSGRESSIONS...WITH HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED" ISAIAH 53 1-5.
Accept Him into ur life today!

THE ROLE OF THE YOUTH IN THE CHURCH: LEARNING FROM RHODA! (ACT 12)

1 Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.

² And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.

³ And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)

⁴ And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternion of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

⁵ Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

⁶ And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.

⁷ And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.

⁸ And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.

⁹ And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.

¹⁰ When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.

¹¹ And when Peter was come to himself, he said; now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

¹² And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying.

¹³ And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.

¹⁴ And when she knew Peter's voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate.

¹⁵ And they said unto her, Thou art mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel.

¹⁶ But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished.

¹⁷ But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go show these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed, and went into another place.

RHODA was a channel of confirmation that their prayers had been answered, ' ma'am is uncle peter knocking' for she recognized Peter's voice. Properly she must have been an ardent listener to Apostle Peter's sermon. As a youth how often does you attend fellowship to listen to the WORD?
Rather to believe her they said to her 'u are mad'. But to give up? Not RHODA! SHE insisted on her conviction. ALWAYS INSIST ON UR CONVICTION NO MATTER THE WORLD DISAPPROVAL! Because she insisted the people believe and behold

Living above the sins of worries

Overcoming the worries of life.

One of the most challenging huddle in our christian race is on how to overcome the worries of life. Jesus in His earthly ministry warns His followers about the impending danger of worries of life. In  Luke 21:34 Jesus said ''Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap''. 
''Be careful..." the Lord said. this is to warn us the danger of carelessness in our christian faith. Many believers today have became  casualty in the faith, not because of their deliberate act of sin or their circumstances but because of carelessness. They were not careful enough through prayer and daily bible study to detect and decode the wiles and tactics of the enemy.
'' ..less your heart will be weighed down with.." The bible says in Proverbs 4:23 ''Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it''. Our heart is the spring-board of our walk with the Lord. Believers must understand the fact that we are in a war. The bible says in 2 cor 10:4 that the weapons of our ware-fare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.The enemy fight to take hold of our heart through doubt,unbelieve, with carousing, drunkenness and anxieties of life. Believers are to guide themselves with the shield of faith.
In verse 36 of our text, the Lord told us the way to escape from the snare of worries of life. Halleluyah! It say ' be always on the watch..We should seek wisdom through the word of God as a guide-post to our faith, inorder to know the divine will so as not to give room to satan deceit. Many believers today are living in deception and wicked devices of the enemy because they are not watchful. A believing brother was deceive by the enemy to seek relieve in drunkness and fornication as a way to escape his fustration. It took the prayers of brethren for him to come back to faith. Be watchful the Lord says and pray... the scripture say in Philippians 4:6, 7 “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Finally brothers and sisters, this is the lastdays, the coming of the Lord is at hand let us put on the whole armour of God that we may be able to live above the worries of this present age!
